Resurfacing Across the Border: A 66,000 SF Acrylic Renovation

Eau Claire North High School, located in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, is known for its commitment to fostering athletic excellence and community engagement. The school’s tennis courts, a hub for student athletes and community players, have served the area for years. In 2025, Eau Claire North High School undertook a comprehensive tennis court resurfacing project to revitalize its facilities, enhancing the playing experience for students, staff, and the broader community.

Problems Solved
Concrete Science was awarded the project and started by pressure washing the existing asphalt substrate to create a clean bonding surface, then subsequently mending over 2200 lineal feet of 1-2” Wide Asphalt Cracks and over 3000 lineal feet of 3/16” separation cracks. Multiple base coats were applied (almost 1400 gallons of material) as well as multiple color coats with white striping. The best part… The project was completed on time for the school’s summer event schedule.
