The centerpiece of this project was the overhaul of the apartment complex’s Pebble Deck pool deck, featuring a state-of-the-art knockdown acrylic installation. This renovation not only enhanced the aesthetic appeal of the community but also prioritized functionality, safety, and resident comfort.

The pool deck renovation began with a thorough assessment of the existing Pebble Deck. The surface, composed of pea rock and epoxy mortar, had eroded over time, creating a sharp, uneven walking area that posed safety risks. Rather than replacing the entire deck—an expensive and disruptive process—Concrete Science opted to resurface it with a knockdown acrylic coating, providing the customer with the necessary safety and aesthetic fix while also achieving the greatest economic outcome.
